Australian Opal Pendant

Custom-made sterling silver pendant.
The opal was brought back from a journey to Australia and kept for many years before being made into jewellery. 
It was commissioned to turn that long-held souvenir into something that could be worn. Set in sterling silver, the opal remains at the centre of a series of flowing, concentric forms that echo its shape.
